What are "Mixed-Bag" Books?
At this time we have four different types of "Mixed-Bag" books:
Kitchen Bags: Choose a Kitchen Bag to organize your grocery shopping for the month. Jot down menu notations and tuck recipes, shopping lists and coupons inside the flaps. Clip inspirational quotes or photos about trends in cooking. When your bag book is full tie it with a pretty bow and pack away as a sort of time capsule. What fun you'll have in later years with children or grand-children exploring your grocery books... 'See kids, look what grandma paid for a carton of milk'.
Garden Bags: Choose a Garden Bag to plan your summer flower or vegetable garden. Tuck seed packets and notes inside the tiny flaps. At the end of the season add photos of your garden and keep as a record of your planting season. Tie with some string and pack away in the winter to open the following spring as an inspirational guidebook and gift to yourself. Over the years the books will grow into a reminder and memory of your many seasons and harvests. See how your garden has changed through the years or be able share (and show) your special gardening heritage to your children or grand-children.
Home Décor Bags: Planning a decorating project? Use a Home Décor Bag to tuck away paint samples, receipts or magazine clippings. Jot down important reminders or materials to be ordered. Use one for each room or project to be renovated to help collate color or decorating styles and choices per room. When your project is complete tie it with a bow and keep as a memory of your renovation project.
Travel Bags: Carry along a Travel Bag on your next vacation. Jot down your thoughts and feelings as you travel and explore. Tuck mementos, small souvenirs, or business cards from restaurants that you visit into the flaps. Make small sketches of scenes of which you would like to remember. Once at home, tuck photos that relate to your journey inside the book, tie with a ribbon and keep as a memento of your holiday.
